Through the eyes of my international “children” I have learned to appreciate all of the seasons we experience in Canada – even Winter! I appreciate long days in summer and long nights in winter. I appreciate our big sky: undiluted light from the stars and moon and northern lights. And I especially appreciate the freedom and safety that we sometimes take for granted. If you want to see our own country in a new way, I would encourage you to welcome students from abroad.
